AR success with repeat procedures

The success of AR procedures depends on a number of factors

The answer to the question of how successful AR procedures are - is not simple.

The success depends on several factors ranging from preparation, patient age, individualization, method of ovulation stimulation, quality of gametes and performance in the embryology laboratory.

All are linked by clinical and embryological measures - key performance indicators (KPIs). This is why IVF procedures in different AR centres (which is very common) are particularly incomparable.

If (and when) IVF treatments are performed under the same conditions and repeated at the same clinic, then the success rate of each procedure would be the same.

Remember that the cumulative success rate of IVF is at most 80%. This means that, unfortunately, 20% of (younger) patients do not become pregnant even with multiple procedures.
